Proud to present NEWPOWER 600KVA Generators delivered to TWRP project!

The Tuas WRP and IWMF make up the Tuas Nexus, which will be Singapore’s first initiative to combine water and solid waste treatments. It will be able to treat 40 per cent of Singapore’s used water and solid waste.

The used water at the Tuas WRP will be digested with the IWMF’s food waste to increase biogas that will then be combusted to boost power generation and improve the plant’s overall energy efficiency by generating more electricity.

The total amount of electricity generated will be enough to power 300,000 four-room Housing Board units.

The generator speed and frequency are proportional generators that can adjust the engine speed.
One of the essential parameters that determines a generator’s rating is its output frequency. To fit the output of a regular electrical grid or the frequency rating of your appliances, the generator’s electrical output must be maintained at a fixed frequency, 50 Hz or 60 Hz.

In the Singapore, the frequency is typically 50 Hz, while in USA, it is 60 Hz. It’s also possible to come across isolated parts of the same grid that operate at different frequencies. It then becomes essential to vary the output frequency of the generator to match that of the appliances to be powered or of the grid to which your generator is connected.
